Tithe Farm Road

Houghton Regis, Luton

This proposal on Tithe Farm Road in Luton was for the development of twelve residential 4 bedroom units with associated access, parking, landscaping, and amenity areas. Planning Permission was granted by Central Bedfordshire Council.  

The scheme’s straightforward design and geometry, is informed by local context and designed to fit the pattern, using the same residential typologies framed in sequence. The design has emphasis repetition of residential units with rationally organised windows and doors, in conjunction with private gardens and allocated parking produce these new build residences. Each of the individual housing block uses two individual brick types of contrasting yellow and orange and colour, share a common language of architectural detail, that unifies their design to the character and context of the neighbourhood.
