Thorney Hedge Road

This development is a beautiful, detailed and ornate mid-terrace double fronted property, located on Thorney Hedge Road a secluded residential street just off the infamous Chiswick High Road. The existing residence has a traditional Victorian frontage, with important features that command respect, especially with the property being located within a conservation area. The traditional bay windows offer plenty of light to the internal spaces of the property. Furthermore, front elevation is full of beautiful ornamentation, for example the window cills and aprons, head casing coping stone details and pilasters; all of which need to be maintained and restored. The interior spaces utilise high-ceilings and include original features such as classical cornicing and fireplaces in all reception rooms and first floor bedrooms. This proposal aimed to convert this existing property to multiple self contained apartment dwellings through the proposed conversions, extensions and associated internal alterations. Fortunately, we were able to work with The London Borough of Hounslow to form three new apartment units in the heart of Chiswick.
