Regents Park
Townhouse
This property is a Grade I listed Nash-designed terraced house, situated within the Crown Estate in Regent's Park, London. As the client was residing overseas, our firm was engaged to oversee the majority of the design, planning, and implementation phases of the project. Given the historic significance of the property, obtaining multiple approvals was necessary, including full planning consent, listed building consent, and the approval of the Crown Estate. To ensure that all necessary approvals were acquired, we engaged specialist heritage planning consultants, as well as a dedicated project manager and cost consultants to monitor the construction stage and manage the contract, thereby providing the client with a comprehensive cost management system. The project scope encompassed a comprehensive refurbishment of both the interior and exterior of the main house, which involved restoring and replacing several original features. The mews house underwent a renovation, including the addition of a basement, conversion of the garage into living space, and the installation of a glazed linkway connecting the main and mews houses.
