Ladygate Lane

This site required the demolition an existing Scout Hut to allow for the proposed residential development at Ladygate Lane, Ruislip, entailed the construction of 4 new build units comprising of one 4-bedroom detached dwelling, one 3-bedroom detached dwelling, and two 3-bedroom semi-detached dwellings with accompanying parking and garden amenities with planning permission granted by the London Borough of Hillingdon.

 

These contemporary detached and semi-detached houses, were designed in response to the neighbourhood with new colour, detail and materials. The aesthetic of these properties, was created  through a unique combination of construction materials. The design has varying materiality, punctuated by the combination of contemporary timber cladding and render, brought together with a restrained level of traditional brick detailing. This Bronsgroen buff brick masonry grounds the design with a stable base creating a distinguished domestic development.
