Chertsey Lane

The Chertsey Lane Development in Staines, showcases our experience in residential construction. The project involved the demolition of an existing house and outbuildings, followed by the construction of a new detached chalet-bungalow style 4-bedroom house with a detached garage.  

 

The contractor made amendments on site that resulted in the construction not meeting the planning conditions set out Runnymede Borough Council, which raised enforcement notices and issues. Fortunately, we were able to overturn post planning issues and facilitate the needs of the client creating their dream home, these adjustments resulted in a property with 25% more habitable space than originally approved. The beauty of the internal spaces is emphasized by the open plan kitchen and living area. To support the applicant, we made the case that the proposal had made efficient use of the land, with the dwelling sited comfortably within the plot. Furthermore, the appearance of the property was in keeping with the character of the immediate vicinity and overall modest in design.
